Whoops?!

So I’ve already received TWO messages from people who want to buy my MLP tattoos… why the heck are they so popular!? I bought them for 50 cents each! Help!! Time to go load up on tattoos, I guess! Good thing I’ve got a lot of quarters…

Shortly after my birthday, my family went to our shared storage unit, and began to clean it out. We have a lot of stuff between all of us, and so we threw out a lot of garbage, and donated a looooooot of toys. All of us are adults now, and we have no young relatives to pass these on to, so Dad decided it was time for a cull. And since I was there, I was able to basically pick out the stuff my siblings didn’t want anymore, including these cuties!

A LOT of stuff went to donation, because we all had pretty ridiculously-sized plush collections (some of us still do … >.>;;;), but I pulled out some of my very favorites from my sibs’ donation piles. Including one of my favorites from my childhood, Kitty/Bunny/Pony Surprise!

This is the ‘before’ shot, because if you look closely all of them are pretty filthy, as they came from when my sib was quite young, and fond of markering up her toys. :P But they all have all of their babies with them, and once they’re all clean again, I’ll take family photos!

I’ll be totally honest, I saved Dudley the Dragon because he was so filthy, I was a little afraid Goodwill might just throw him out. And because he was such a goofy, sort of knockoff Barney the Dinosaur, I figured we had to keep him, for sheer giggle-value. Poor Dudley!

After saving these three from the donation box, I got to wondering, maybe there’s other collectors out there! So I went online to check eBay, and YIKES, people are selling them for something like $40-80 a family?! Is this accurate or am I just finding all of the massively-inflated sales!?

Happy birthday to me!

You probably weren’t aware (being as I forgot to post about it on here WHOOPS) that it was my birthday recently! And lucky for you, I’m so dang slow about uploading photos that I didn’t bother to post any til now! And since this is my toy-collecting blog, where else would be a better place to post about all the toys I got? ;)

The first pic is missing a few things, which I only realized now; I also got a lovely book called “The Owl Who Liked Sitting on Caesar” by Martin Windrow, an owl mug and candle! It was a very owly and ponyish birthday for me this year!

The second pic is the group of G1 ponies I found at the local toyfair which I attended with my friend Vesperblade! Thanks for taking me buddy!!

Third pic is my ‘moon cycle’ I found tucked into a pile of stuff at the toyfair! I love it!! Naturally, Senor Fakiepants had to hop on for a ride.

Next up is my gift from Vesperblade - LOOK AT THIS FREAKIN THING! IT IS SO COOL! Seriously, check it out. It’s like a Caboodle, but for grownups!!! It has so many little crafty compartments, I absolutely freakin’ love it!!! Naturally, I have already filled it up. The top compartment is pony hair, and there’s three mini storage boxes inside; I have the top one filled up with my random crafting doodads (most of which were supplies for my Christmas train project which I have yet to finish), the middle with crafting tools and brushes, and the bottom one is assorted craft stuff which is vaguely related to ponies!

AND, even cooler, it comes with a customizable name plate you can mail away for! I’m debating decorating it like an oldschool Caboodles tote, puffy paint and all!!

Happy birthday to me!

G3 Breezies! I loved them :D Sadly I don’t know these one’s names at the moment!!

Hi there friendo! I didn’t see anyone helping you in the notes, so I wanted to lend a helping hand! I use Strawberry Reef (http://www.strawberryreef.com/index.html) for all of my G3-identification needs, and I’ve very quickly figured out the names of your ponies for you! The yellow one is Zipzee (http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/Name/zipzee.html), the purple one is either Meadow Moon (http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/Name/meadowmoon.html) or Lady Slipper (http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/Pose/breezie2.html), because it’s hard to tell without seeing her symbol! And lastly, the pink one on the right is (I believe!) Honeydew Hum (http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/Name/honeydewhum.html)! They’re all lovely ponies! Apologies if I’m repeating something everyone else has already said! I love the fabric you used for the background, BTW!
